This recipe provides excellent protein from fish sources with beneficial omega-3 fatty acids from sardines. The moisture content supports feline hydration needs. Taurine supplementation is critical as fish-based diets may be deficient. The calcium-phosphorus ratio is slightly below ideal (1.25:1 recommended) and should be monitored with veterinary guidance. This recipe is designed for intermittent use; long-term feeding requires additional micronutrient supplementation.

🧊 Safety & Storage

Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or freeze individual portions for up to 2 months. Thaw frozen portions overnight in the refrigerator. Never leave food out at room temperature for more than 30 minutes. Wash hands and all surfaces thoroughly after handling raw eggs. Discard any uneaten food after your cat has finished eating.

⚠️ Recipe Drift Warning

Do not substitute tuna with albacore due to higher mercury content. Avoid sardines packed in oil or with added salt. Do not replace eggs with alternatives without adjusting calcium and protein calculations. Sunflower oil should not be replaced with fish oil without recalculating fatty acid ratios. Any ingredient changes require complete nutritional recalculation.
