🧊 Safety & Storage
Always use fresh ingredients and cook all proteins to safe internal temperatures. Wash hands and all surfaces before and after handling raw meat. Refrigerate prepared food immediately and use within 3 days; freeze portions for longer storage up to 2 weeks. Thaw frozen portions in refrigerator only, never at room temperature. Discard any food left out for more than 2 hours. Monitor kitten for any digestive upset when introducing new foods.
⚠️ Recipe Drift Warning
Do not substitute taurine with other amino acids as it is essential for feline heart and eye health. Avoid replacing chicken liver with other organ meats without adjusting vitamin A levels. Do not use onion, garlic, grapes, or raisins as these are toxic to cats. Substituting fish oil with plant-based omega sources will not provide adequate EPA/DHA for kittens.
