Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless, diced
  • 1 lb sardines in water, drained (canned, no salt added)
  • 2 cups butternut squash, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup green beans, chopped
  • 1 cup spinach, roughly chopped
  • 4 cups beef bone broth (low sodium, homemade preferred)

  • 2 tbsp ground eggshell (or 1 tsp calcium carbonate)
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat coconut oil over medium heat. Brown the beef cubes for 3-4 minutes on all sides.
  2. Add chicken thighs and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the beef bone broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes.
  4. Add butternut squash and green beans. Continue simmering for 20 minutes until vegetables are tender.
