🧊 Safety & Storage
Refrigerate fresh portions in airtight containers for up to 3 days. Freeze individual portions in ice cube trays for up to 3 months. Thaw frozen portions in the refrigerator overnight, never at room temperature. Always serve at room temperature or slightly warmed. Wash hands and all surfaces thoroughly after handling raw chicken. Discard any uneaten food left out for more than 30 minutes.
⚠️ Recipe Drift Warning
Do NOT substitute plant-based proteins for animal proteins—cats are obligate carnivores and require animal-sourced amino acids. Do not use onion, garlic, or chives in any quantity as they are toxic to cats. Avoid substituting salmon oil with fish oils high in vitamin A. Do not omit taurine—taurine deficiency causes blindness and heart failure in cats. Calcium carbonate should not be replaced with bone meal due to contamination risks. Always consult your veterinarian before making ingredient changes.
