🧊 Safety & Storage
Store in airtight containers in refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze individual portions for up to 2 months. Thaw frozen portions overnight in refrigerator. Never leave at room temperature over 2 hours. Always use fresh chicken liver - no other organ meats without recipe adjustment. Discard any uneaten food after 30 minutes at room temperature.
⚠️ Recipe Drift Warning
Do NOT substitute beef liver for chicken liver without adjusting vitamin A levels. Do NOT use onion, garlic, or chives - toxic to cats. Do NOT replace salmon oil with plant-based oils. Do NOT omit taurine - cats cannot synthesize this amino acid. Any protein source changes require complete recalculation of calcium:phosphorus ratios.
