⚠️ Recipe Drift Warning
Do NOT substitute ground beef for turkey without adjusting portions significantly—higher fat content will disrupt caloric balance for weight management. Avoid substituting quinoa with white rice (lower fiber, higher glycemic index). Never use pumpkin pie filling instead of plain pumpkin puree. Do not add onions, garlic, grapes, or xylitol-sweetened ingredients as these are toxic to dogs. Consult your veterinarian before making any ingredient substitutions, especially if your dog has food sensitivities.
